Founder of the company; Riccardo was born in Sicily, Italy in 1943. He came to the United States in 1961 and developed a love for Photography & Film. He spent about ten years studying photography techniques and traveling from state to state articulating and cultivating his skills. In 1972, Riccardo Productions was born. With his European flare for creativity and personality he soon revolutionized the genre and became incredibly popular through-out the tri-state area and beyond. He developed relationships with top professionals in the field (who are still with the company) and become an elite professional and trusted videographer of choice among many families still using the company today. His work ethic is hard work, customer satisfaction and an unrelenting pursuit to be the best in the business. He kept the company going strong for many years until he gladly passed it on to his sons, Anthony & Joseph Lavignani. He carefully guided them through the business and taught them all of his extreme expertise and powerful work ethic. Thought that hard work has many rewards, his sons continue to revolutionize the company year after year. Riccardo stands by and is very proud of what he and his sons have accomplished.

Starting at a very young age he spent a lifetime working in videography and photography. With a wealth of knowledge from his father on his side he developed into an elite professional and the face of the company. His passion and love for the work is apparent at first glance. He is happiest when working in the field behind the lens. He develops a long lasting relationship with all of his couples because of his personality and love for his work and his clients. One of the largest reasons for his success is his extreme motivation to capture the most captivating and memorable images possible from location to location. He and his brother Joseph strive to develop new concepts and techniques to keep with the times and technology. To be the best in the business is what drives him further year after year.

Giuseppe Lavignani/Photographer & Editing Supervisor

Joseph had not only the benefit of his father Riccardo by his side but also his older brother in the business before him. Starting with the company at only 10 years old he spent many years cultivating his knowledge in lighting, audio, and film technology. He has received degrees in Media and broadcasting and performed an internship with television production houses for many years. He helped the company develop a strong production crew. Only high-end professional production will do in Joseph’s eyes. He is the technical guru of Riccardo productions and is the current editing supervisor. He is a magnificent videographer and visionary. He also has a strong love and passion for his work. Through innovative shooting techniques and sophisticated editing in post production his “Wedding films“ contain emotion, intricate detail, dramatic and captivating images developed around the unique personalities of each individual client. With the implementation of photography he is able to express his same creativity onto still images with his special Elite crew. He and his brother and partner Anthony are the driving force for the continued success of the company. He owes all of his passion and know-how to his father Riccardo who has guided him to be the best he can be.

A welcome addition to studio, Tony’s talent for capturing moments, in high quality, on the fly makes him one the best photographers in the business. Through his art, he magnifies every emotion, every special quality, of every individual that meets his lens. His portraits are not only aesthetically appealing but they are also taken with the highest quality of skill and technique.  He has a strong passion for his work that has inspired him to mentor other photographers to help them develop their craft as well. .  Tony is an artist and a professional that understands the significance of the events he covers. He continually nurtures and perfects his craft to ensure that all of his subjects are constantly captivated by the images he captures.  There is saying around the studio, “When Tony is on the job, you know it’s going be a good day.”  Tony is one of the studio’s leading photographers and we are happy to say one of the best in his trade. Riccardo Productions has always been a trusted family owned and operated company. Little Riccardo lavignani already shows a strong interest in photography at age 9 and Gianluca Lavignani to follow. Their sons and daughters will be the driving force of this company for the future and beyond. This was and is the vision of Riccardo himself when he conceived the company over thirty years ago.
